circular box, the independent cover and base engine-turned with concentric reeding and scattered with pellets and flowers, the sides with horizontal reeding and similarly scattered with pellets, the cover centred with a circular medallion chased in three colours of gold with birds near an urn on a sablé ground, foliate borders on cover, sides and base
