The interior depicted in the present lot is The Long Gallery, Haddon Hall, where Frank Moss Bennett was a frequent visitor. The window shows the Boars Head Crest of the Vernon Family, who lived there from the 14th Century until 1567, when it passed to the Manners family by marriage.
