Saint John Vineyard. Bottled in 1937. Re-corked and re-capsuled. Mostly with small paper labels, some damaged, some with remains of labels only. Lots 99 to 108B have been re-corked and re-capsuled. Lots 109 to 111 and lot 113 have original corks and capsules. Lot 112 has seven bottles re-corked and re-capsuled and twelve with original corks and capsules
Tasting Note: Medium glowing orange tawny; sweet, meaty, high toned, yet a bouquet of great depth. On the palate great length. October 2008 **** MB
