The first with short blade with clipped point, the hilt and scabbard entirely encased in silver decorated with panels of niello scrollwork, the hilt with dog's head pommel and the scabbard with bird's head finial; and the Kindjal with tapering blade etched within a series of fullers and struck with a mark, the hilt faced in white metal, and in its original scabbard with chased white metal mounts
