AN OTTOMAN YATAGHAN; ANOTHER; AND A TURKISH SMALL FLINTLOCK BLUNDERBUSS

The first with recurved blade chiselled with scrolls in low relief on a matted gilt ground on both sides at the base (koftgari inscriptions and maker's cartouche rubbed), and iron hilt decorated with koftgari scrolls and fitted with rhinoceros horn scales extending to form an eared pommel; the second with blade dated 1234 A.H, and with chiselled silvered iron hilt fitted with buffalo horn grip-scales (small chips); and the blunderbuss with short stock profusely inlaid with horn (rusted, the fore-end incomplete)
