COMPREHENSIVELY EARLY 17TH CENTURY
Comprising a pair of cuisses of three-part construction fitted with winged poleyns, a pair of hinged greaves, and a pair of articulated sabatons, decorated throughout with bands of elaborate trophies, both of war and of music, the principal bands within running leaf borders, the edges turned and roped, and studded with brass-capped rivets throughout (pitting and significant wear throughout, some rivets replaced) (4)
