Converted from flintlock, with signed browned twist heavy octagonal barrels, silver fore-sights, case-hardened breeches, platinum lines, engraved breech tangs, signed engraved case-hardened locks with engraved bevelled edges (safety-catches each chipped), figured walnut half-stocks, blued spurred trigger-guards engraved with trophies and bouquets, engraved case-hardened trigger-plates each with pinapple finial, engraved ramrod-pipes, silver escutcheons, original ramrods, and some early finish throughout: in original fitted oak case (lining missing, compartment walls loose), the lid with flush-fitting circular handle enclosing an escutcheon engraved with the owner's name 'G. C. Weston', and with original bullet mould and copper three-way flask
