A mid 19th century gold, diamond, ruby and enamel brooch
Designed as a pendant with pierced crown of polychrome enamel decoration suspending a cascade of floral articulated drops decorated with ruby quatrefoil clusters and leaf, wire and beadwork detail, to a translucent green enamel ribbon bow brooch with central rose-cut diamond and ruby flowerhead cluster with painted pink and white enamel petals, circa 1850
