A LOUIS XVI BEECH BERGERE

The arched back with foliate carved crest to the toprail above padded back arms and seat upholstered in pale green velvet, with a squab cushion, on floral paterae-headed tapering fluted legs, stamped 'J F M Langon' and flanked by stamped monogram to either side on the underside of the front rail, and further stamped 'D' to the underside of each side rail, formerly painted with some decoration extant
