With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1944 and its subsequent sale on July 3rd of the following year.

To the best of our knowledge the present watch has never before been offered in public.

Patek Philippe produced the reference 1461 from 1940 until approxmiately 1953. The timepieces were made in yellow or pink gold along with steel and in either steel or gold versions. Patek Philippe produce the model in three version, the first with caliber 10-105 from 1940-1946, the 2nd with caliber 10-110, like the present watch from 1940-1950 and the 3rd series with caliber 10-200 from 1946 until the end of production.
