Kangxi (1662-1722)
Modelled looking to the right, playing with a lion cub climbing its forepaw, the head with a protruding forehead adorned with the character wang, the jaw agape below bulging eyes framed by an array of tight curls, seated on a rectangular pierced stand decorated with prunus blossom on a cracked-ice ground, butterflies and a trelllis-pattern, all covered in aubergine, green and yellow glazes, small chips and damages
