A Japanese five-piece Imari garniture
18th Century
Comprising three octagonal baluster jars and covers and a pair of beaker vases, painted around the sides with panels enclosing a lady sitting in a pavilion alternating with abundant flower vases, all reserved on a ground of flower-scrolls, the high domed covers surmounted by a hexagonal knop finial, damages and restoration
The baluster jars 51.5 cm. high; the beaker vases 34.3 cm. high (5)
