A Chinese famille rose censer and cover and a famille rose vase
Late 19th Century
The globular censer modelled as three cabbages, their stems forming the tripod feet, on a base moulded with leaves, applied with two birds on either side forming the handles, the domed reticulated cover with an upright neck, moulded as polychrome interlocking cloud-scrolls, applied with a pair of cranes, 14 cm. high; and a famille rose baluster vase painted with chrysanthemum and peony issuing from rockwork, with Guangxu six-character mark and of the period, 25.7 cm. high (2)
