Lot Essay

A very similar bedstead is illustrated in Wolsey and Luff, Furniture in England, The Age of the Joiner, London, 1968, plate 86 and another in Richard Bebb Welsh Furniture 1250-1950, Saer, 2007, Vol I, p.194 attributed to Carmarthenshire.
