(M/chester) LTD. 18 Pall Mall, Manchester and numbered 4023, Roman hour numerals, subsidiary seconds and up-and-down dials, blued steel hands, Earnshaw escapement, cut bimetallic balance with cylindrical heat compensation weights, polished bright metal helical balance spring, spring foot detent with jewelled locking stone, brass bowl and gimbal, three-tier brass-bound mahogany box (replacement top lid), applied bone ivory disc (cracked) to front at middle section inscribed E.A. HOLLAND & Co. LTD 4023 MANCHESTER, flush recessed carrying handles, the bezel inscribed M/C LINERS LTD.
