Engraved with an interior scene of the Thames Tunnel
4¼ in. (10.5 cm.) high
Together with a French horn commemorative beaker, circa 1820, engraved showing Napoleon in exile and inscribed 'ALLA MEMORIA ... NAPOLEONE'; and another engraved with a farming scene (3)

Lot Essay

The Thames Tunnel was built beneath the River Thames between Rotherhithe and Wapping by Marc Isambard Brunel and his son Isambard Kingdom Brunel between 1825 and 1843.
