The frosted silver dial signed ULYSSE NARDIN LOCLE, SUISSE and numbered 5204, Roman hour numerals, black hour and minute hands, subsidiary seconds and up-and-down dials with blued steel hands, gilt-satin finish frame, the top-plate with the Ulysse Nardin factory mark and numbered 5204, Earnshaw escapement, cut bi-metallic Guillaume 'integral' balance with four cylindrical heat compensation weights, polished bright metal helical balance spring, Ulysse Nardin format strip steel detent with jewelled locking stone to side of banking block, brass bowl and gimbal in three-tier brass-bound mahogany box (now lacking top lid and missing external handles)
