Manuscript on paper, 143 pages, small 4to (205 x 160mm), [England, 1756], with calligraphic title-page, containing computational tables and decorated throughout with calligraphic animals and birds, inscribed 'The writing figures and arithmetic in this book are all by the hand writing of me, being the arithmetik that I was taught by Thomas ?Prymalt, Schoolmaster at Aston, when I was 16 years old', signed 'J. Dovaston'
Together with an Account book, manuscript on paper, comprising records dated 1740-1749, tall folio, contemporary vellum, metal clasps (2)
