'Sermones de diversis Anonymi', decorated manuscript on paper. 207 x 145 mm. 102 pages (plus pastedowns and front endleaf from documents in Latin on vellum): 1-314, 4-812, contemporary pagination in upper margins, guide letters, catchwords on final versos of most gatherings, prickings visible in outer margins, 38 lines written in black ink in a neat bookhand between two verticals and 39 horizontals ruled in brown ink, rubrics and one- and two-line initials in red, scribal annotations in margins (wear to edge of opening leaf). 15th century vellum wrappers, spine with 3 (of 4) applied leather bands, with paper labels (272, 140, 656), upper cover inscribed in ink with contemporary shelfmark 'S xvii'.
