Made up of twelve engraved and coloured paper gores, printed in pale colours, the constellations named, the stars indicated by magnitude, many old surface abrasions, some cracking in the poles, with engraved brass meridian circle, an hour ring situated at the south celestial pole, with horizon ring (old surface abrasions and rubbing) on ebonized stand, the three baluster turned supports united by similarly turned stretchers
