Made up of twelve printed and coloured paper gores, the constellations named and illustrated as mythical beasts, figures and scientific instruments, with magnitude chart, printed hour circle to the north celestial pole, some old surface abrasions, cracks and minimum varnish loss, some repainting, with engraved brass meridian circle, the horizon ring supported on four baluster turned legs, united by stretchers
