Lot Essay

The British frigate "Aiax", which was capable of attaining a speed of 10 seamiles p/h, was stationed in the Mediterranean in 1802, together with the "Victory" under command of Admiral Nelson. The "Aiax" participated in the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805
