A large scrimshaw whale's tooth**
British; 19th century
[unsigned], on the verso, engraved with the image of a British warship with an eagle above cluthching arrows, on the recto; an image of a sailor on shore, and Samson battling a lion. On one side is an image of a lighthouse or observatory.
