A large scrimshaw whales tooth with an American ship**
Attributed to the Bogota artist; American, 19th century
[unsigned], on the verso; an American ship at port with various buildings and an image od the American eagle in the sky clutching arrows and olive branches with an American shield. On the recto; is a group of ships at sea, and on one side is a rendering of a large sperm whale.
