ITALIE, PROBABLEMENT ROME, TROISIEME QUART DU XVIIEME SIECLE
En cuivre doré, représenté debout, les mains attachées dans le dos à une colonne, sur une base reliquaire ouvragée en placage d'ébène, de forme carrée, avec monture en cuivre doré et argent; deux côtés présentant des reliques protégées par un couvercle ovale en verre, la façade ornée d'un bas relief en argent de forme ovale, représentant un caméléon sous un ruban portant l'inscription 'DE SVO CORIO LVDIT', l'ensemble reposant sur quatre pieds ciselés à motifs de volutes en bronze doré et ciselé; petits craquelures, accidents et manques au socle

Depicted standing with his hands tied behind his back to a column, on an elaborate gilt-copper and silver-mounted ebony-veneered square reliquary pedestal; two sides each with relics under an oval glass cover and the front with oval silver relief depicting a chameleon beneath a ribbon inscribed 'DE SVO CORIO LVDIT'; all on four scrolling gilt-bronze feet; minor cracks, damages and losses to base
