A very similar view, attributed to Tingqua, is in the collection of the Peabody Essex Museum, Salem, and illustrated by P. Conner and W.R. Sargent in Views of the Pearl River Delta, Hong Kong, 1996, p. 194, where the authors note that Captain Forbes of Boston owned such a view inscribed on its reverse ...by Tingqua of 16 New China Street...
