PROBABLY GILLOWS, STAMPED BY CRAFTSMAN B. WOOD, EARLY 19TH CENTURY
The top with removable slide with a chessbaord on the reverse, enclosing a sunken velvet-lined compartment with backgammon surface, flanked on either side by hinged-flaps enclosing sunken compartments, above a frieze drawer, the reverse with a faux drawer, one foot later cast, with pencil inscription 'J.R.(K) Hall Esq.'
