The substantial brass movement secured by four double screwed pillars, single chain and fusee with Harrison's maintaining power, the substantial wheel work with two and three crossings, Vulliamy-type dead beat escapement, the 3½in. engraved and silvered Roman dial signed 'C.MC.DOWELL'S/PATENT HELIX LEVER/NO.169/ST JOHN'S/WAKEFIELD', blued steel hands, under glass dome; triangular shaped pendulum (possibly replaced)
