Each scene carved in great detail with a pierced background, one side showing the Crucifixion flanked by two Evangelists, above the Doubting Thomas, below Sts. Constantine and Elena with the True Cross and at the lowest register the scene of the Anastasis; the other side representing the Annunciation, the Baptism, Sts. Peter and Paul, and the Presentation of Christ to the Temple, the two horizontal extremities showing the other two Evangelists; set in a white metal frame
