The Mother of God lying on a bier surrounded by the Apostles, the story of Jeremiah is represented in the foreground, Christ in Glory holding the soul of His mother in the form of an infant, He is accompanied by two angels and a seraphim, a Bishop and female onlookers stand to either side; painted in saturated colours with the haloes and garment pleats in gold
