Lot Essay


See Cat No 2, The London Connection, Printed Handkerchiefs in the Collection of the Museum of London. An identical handkerchief was the first printed handkerchief to be acquired by the Museum. Five other handkerchieves of this design were known to the museum at the time of publication.
