The rectangular cornice with associated pierced fretwork gallery, with dentilled lower edge, above four shelves with pierced sides and pale green cotton backing, above three mahogany-lined frieze drawers with later handles, the reverse with white chalk marking '1/1/77(?)', previously fitted with a pulley system to the underside of the top
