MARK OF ROBERT GARRARD, LONDON, 1823/5
Comprising: a pair of three-light candelabra and a single five-light candelabrum en suite, on shaped square bases with shell corners and spirally-fluted capitals and stem, the detachable nozzles with acanthus leaf corners, crested on base, capitals and detachable nozzles with a lion's head erased beneath an earl's coronet, bases filled
the five-branch candelabrum 22 in. (55.9 cm.) high; branch span 19½ in. (49.5 cm.) wide; the three branch candelabra 19¾ in. (50.3 cm.) high; branch span 16¼ in. (41.2 cm.) wide
weight of branches 322 oz. (9,982 gr.)
The crest and coronet are probably that of the Earl of Dudley, of Dudley Castle, Staffordshire. (3)
