The crossbanded twin-flap top with a central patera hung with husk-garlands, within a foliate border, above a single frieze drawer with later Lever lock, on square tapering legs with husks and foliage, with brass caps and castors

Another Pembroke table labelled by Simson, of nearly identical form to the current lot was sold anonymously, Sotheby's, London, 14 February 1992, lot 131 (£8,250).
