A late 19th century gold, diamond and enamel pectoral cross pendant
On one side the raised figure of Christ, hands and feet closed set with cabochon rubies, the white enamel loin cloth with rose-cut diamond four stone girdle, the other side with the figure of the Virgin Mary with blue and white enamel robes wearing rose-cut diamond crown with rose-cut diamond detail to the base, the pierced cross with shell and foliate motif terminals, circa 1870
