A FINE AND UNUSUAL WHITE AND RUSSET JADE PENDANT
18TH/19TH CENTURY
Of rectangular shape with rounded corners, cleverly carved in shallow relief utilizing the sparse russet markings with a beetle perched on a leaf above a spider in its web amidst bamboo growing from rocky earth, the reverse carved with further bamboo below a winged insect carved in relief at one corner above a chrysalis
