The cover of a censer, modeled as a buddhistic lion seated atop a faceted stepped plinth with a shaped cut-out on each side, with head raised as it scratches itself with the left rear paw while the other paw is placed beside a brocade ball, with a bell-hung ribbon tied around the neck and the mouth open for the release of incense smoke, covered with a clear glaze of olive tone, the interior of the plinth inscribed with a date
