A RARE SMALL HUANGHUALI COMPOUND CABINET, SIJIANGUI
18TH CENTURY
Modeled after the larger prototypes, and of rectangular form with beautiful graining, the hat chest with two square-panel doors fitted flush around a removable center stile, the cabinet with rectangular panel doors similarly fitted and with removable center stile, the doors opening to reveal the shelved interior above two small drawers, the front with a horizontal panel above a plain apron and apron-head spandrels
