A MUGHAL GREEN JADE BOWL
19TH CENTURY
Thinly carved to highlight the translucency of the moss-green stone, with deep rounded sides carved at the rim with a band of leaves pendent from a narrow herringbone border, the bottom of the sides similarly carved in reverse just above the spreading ring foot, with a flower head carved on the base
5 3/8 in. (13.7 cm.) diam.
