JIN/YUAN DYNASTY, 12TH-14TH CENTURY
Carved through the white slip with a band enclosing two phoenixes in flight amidst peonies and other flowers, above a narrower band of similar flowers, with a band of trefoil-filled petals below and narrow bands of angular and foliate scroll above, with a band of petals below the short, waisted neck, all covered with a clear glaze
