A WHITE JADE SLENDER TWO-HANDLED VASE
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The elongated ovoid body supported on a spreading foot and finely carved in low relief with a wide band of archaistic taotie masks below a lappet collar at the shoulder and cicada motifs on the waisted neck which is flanked by two tubular handles below the slightly bulbous mouth, the pale, slightly mottled stone with some pale russet inclusions
