The circular collar comprised of seventeen black silk pendent tabs, the central tab suspending a large ruyi head and the other sixteen of lingzhi form, all decorated with appliques made from various materials including jade, jadeite, hardstone, amber, coral, and kingfisher feather-embellished silver gilt, the two back tabs joined by a two-part white jade garment clasp and a gilt-silver clasp with a large amber butterfly positioned between, all within borders of gold-wrapped thread and backed in jadeite-green silk; with the original red-lacquered fan-shaped box
