SOUTHERN SONG/YUAN DYNASTY, 12TH-14TH CENTURY
The pear-shaped body decorated in relief with a band of foliate meander, the undulating leafy stem alternately bearing lotus and peony blossoms above a bow-string border and a band of upright petals, the slender neck with two triple bow-string bands, the lower one applied with a pair of dragon heads with upturned snouts suspending fixed rings, all below a flared mouth with galleried rim covered overall with a glaze of soft sea-green color thinning on the raised areas
