Painted around the body with a scene of two officials and their attendant in a pavilion amidst rocks and trees beneath scrolling clouds, being approached by two soldiers as they look over a wide river to a distant procession of soliders, some on horseback and others bearing flags, beneath a narrow border containing reserves of lotus blossoms on a simplified wan diaper ground on the shoulder and a landscape scene of a sage and attendant crossing a bridge to a distant pavilion on the flared neck, the base with apocryphal Chenghua mark
