GUANGXU PERIOD (1875-1908)
Each of square section, the bombé sides well painted in famille rose with various flowers reserved on a ground of lemon-yellow color, one side with dayazhai mark in iron red in a line, the opposite side with dayazhai mark in an oval cartouche encircled by two dragons contesting a pearl above crashing waves, the whole raised on four bracket feet painted with classic scroll in gilt on a coral ground, the base with four-character mark Yong Qing Chang Chun in iron red within a double square

Acquired in Beijing between 1911-51, and thence by descent within the family to the present owner.
