Gandhara, 3rd century
Well-carved standing on a plinth holding the bottle with the elixir of immortality, wearing long flowing robes and necklaces, his face with a benign expression framed by curly hair and backed by a round nimbus with lotus petal frieze, the base carved with two devotees in adoration flanking an altar
