South India, Vijayanagar period, 15th/16th century
Cast standing over a stepped lotus base with his left leg resting on a peacock, his four arms radiating about him holding various implements, clad in a short dhoti secured by an elaborate sash and further adorned by jewelry, his hair arranged in a high headdress
