An unusual gilt bronze figure of a Dakini
Tibet, 13th century
Striding in alidhasana over a rectangular lotus base with beaded rims, brandishing a sword in her outstretched right hand and clutching a mongoose in the left, dressed in a close-fitting garment, large earrings and other beaded adornments, the face with three bulging eyes topped by a wide crown, her hair piled into a high chignon
