The top inlaid with a geometric design of various marbles and hardstones, including brocatello di Spagna, porfido verde, verde antico, lumachella and porphyry, and centred by a lapis star, on scrolled and pierced acanthus-carved supports joined by an iron stretcher with floral terminals, on paw feet
