Drawing inspiration from Brazilian street life and carnival culture, the brothers Campana fuse found objects with advanced technologies to create a uniquely vibrant and energetic approach to design that offers an alternative to the rationalist ideals of European modernism.

The Campanas were recognised as Designer of the Year, Design Miami, 2008. In May 2009 their creations will be the subject of a major retrospective, 'Antibodies: Works by Fernando and Humberto Campana, 1989-2009', Vitra Design Museum, Weil am Rhein, Germany.
